Updates

Well friends, the sad time has come for us to now say our goodbyes to the Cedar Street Bridge.

As many have already heard, the Cedar Street Bridge has sold to new owners; 2 aggressive divorce attorneys from Los Angeles. The past month has been very difficult and uncertain in regards to the large...

One of our favorite times to go there is during open mic on Saturdays, which is ran by Frytz Mor. There is so much talent just waiting to be heard. Damon runs the wine bar and is very knowledgeable and friendly. The view over Sand Creek is beautiful too. Last week there was a special smoked corned beef sandwich on the menu. It was delicious! Try their apple tart with a delicious mocha if you just want a dessert.

The owners were here when we came and they chatted with us for a while. They were so nice and welcoming, and wished us a happy anniversary. We are visiting town for our vacation and they made it memorable for us to have a glass of wine and hang out on the lake. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great, locally owned wine bar!

Only drank from the wine bar so we can't comment on the food, but we very much enjoyed ourselves. The owners were present today and were very friendly. On top of that the bartender was knowledgeable of the wines he was serving and was able to provide us with exactly what we wanted. Also the decor and location are fantastic. We are planning future trips to Sandpoint and are definitely going to include this wine bar during subsequent stays.

Where Cedar St. Meets Sand Creek

Formerly known as the Cedar St Bistro.
Taysty’s is located on the historic Cedar St. Bridge, with its massive tamarack logs and huge, glass solar-wall through which you can enjoy a view of peaceful Sand Creek and the mountains beyond.

Taylar and Tyler Francis— a young couple excited to contribute to the bustling Cedar Street Bridge, officially purchased the restaurant and wine bar on February 29th, 2020.

Both have 10+ years worth of experience in the food service and customer service industry. The duo met while working at a Resort at Priest Lake, ID in 2013.

Under the new ownership, the Cedar Street Bistro adopted a new name: Taysty’s. It’s a combination of the owners’ names, branding the restaurant both “Tay’s” and “Ty’s.”

Every day, great-tasting food will be served up with drinks in a warm and inviting atmosphere. You can expect to find hand-made sweet and savory crepes, artisan pizzas, grilled sandwiches and wraps, plus more! The Wine Bar will complement the existing menu and offer new, hand-made selections.
Taysty’s will continue to be a Downtown Favorite and Local Treat!
